our banner is a moebius

a never ending flag
an iridescent serpent
on a silken sacred rag

the serpent's steely fangs
are holding firmly to its tail
but not so to consume itself
but simply to prevail

a circle to keep loved ones close
and keep invaders swayed
so perfect is the nation
that the two of us have made

sometimes one's arc may be acute
the other's more obtuse
supporting one another
grasping hands to not let loose

and our spherical connection
has a language of it's own
sometimes we need not talk at all
a glance, and all is known

our banner is a moebius
an undivided pair
our union means security
that love has woven there
