the joys of vox

i'm driving to the radio
it's sometimes fast and sometimes slow
i tend to let its tempo set my pace
.
sometimes i'll hear my favorite song
and i'll conspire to sing along
that's when a smile appears upon my face
.
i tap a rhythm on the wheel
the bass a-thumpin' with my heel
a taradiddle right before the turn
.
creating my own symphony
though some might say, cacophony
but what the heck, there's always time to learn
.
if broken, is my radio
i guess i'll have to wing it though
my mood will pick the rhythm and the rhyme
.
i'll turn that volume up to ten
pretend that i'm a teen again
when driving was a novelty, sublime

Light hearted and sweet sentiments.
I like the way you express your thoughts.
