The sun hit the window,
Like a ball thrown at a wall.
The cat high up in the tree
Clung on so he wouldn’t fall
The birds sang the morning chorus
But they were out of tune
It was a cold winter morning
Towards the middle of June
The garden gnomes were dancing
Across the garden lawn
Flower buds were closing
What a crazy kind of morn
