Letters from a Stay at Home Mom

My day is scattered with crumbs and chaos,

Just once a week, I would like to have a day off.

The three year old monkey is climbing the railing,

while the baby is rolling on the floor and wailing.

Oh me, Oh my.

Time does fly.

With a lingering feeling of dread

did someone wet the bed?

I used to want to be a writer,

All I want now is for life to be quieter.

Although I would never trade them for none,

I'm  quite aware that my work day will never be done.

oh me, oh my

time does fly

With a great deal of joy and hope,

I'm going to try and cope.
