The truth is hidden beneath her soul,

It never can be revealed.

She wears a secret solemn mask,

For her pain no one can heal.

Her life is a solo performance,

That she acts out day by day,

Shes afraid to be herself,

So she acts out one big play.

She slits her wrists unfeeling,

To dull the pain inside,

An act of desperation ,

To make her feel alive.

She falls into depression,

It seems theres no way out,

She has so many fears,

And holds so many doubts.

All she needs is someone

To help her fight this war,

A hand to life her upwar,

'Cause she's worth fighting for.

You cannot know this girls pain,

but I can plainly see,

Beacause this girls a reminder

Of someone just like me.
