You cannot tell me that I am not one with this earth.

That my body is not of this earth.

My skin makes up these canyons,

Sun kissed and smooth

You cannot tell me that I am not one with this earth, when my voice echos just as sweet as the winds above me.

You cannot tell me that I am not one with this earth, when my heart beats to the rhythm of a river flowing to nature's drums.

You cannot tell me I am not one with this earth when I grow everyday, moving up like the trees.

A new ring added for every year of life given to me.

You cannot tell me I am not one with this earth when I am just as beautiful this here nature.

The greatest gift from our creator.
