Breaking tiny pieces off from me,

Hating and denying the being that I am,

Not realizing who I'm meant to be,

Broken and unworthy, fog covering my eyes.

So focused and consumed by all the past and it's lies,

Shaking, and afraid, forgetting the price that's paid,

'Maybe in the furture these feeling will soon fade',

But why not now? Make a change?

Is it easy? Is it the same?

In one case, just shut up,

Stop allowing these thoughts to come in,

''Don't allow the enemy to win'',

But like me, he puts up a fight,

I know damn well what's wrong and what's right,

This is wrong, it isn't me,

I'm not ashamed of who I was made to be,

Strong, caring, submissive yet bearing responsibility for myself,

What does it take for me to see this,

I've done so many things, maybe it's time that I act like 'His.'

I can't do it all myself, I can't be the dictator over my life,

Let God be God and stop creating so much strife.
