I wrote this a while back. When everything just hit me at once after the person i loved finally hurt me for the last time. Enjoy. It's diffrent than the others.

In mournful memory
i recline and lament
of memorys of passion
of the feeling of your lips on mine
our passion combined and melded
your passion swept me away
and i had to have more
i had to give you more
the most wonderful feeling
God ever gave a man
as worthless as me
I would pass up
everything along the way of life
if only to taste your sweet and passionate

i recall
that to look upon your face
to see the love in your eyes
was to gaze upon the Beauty of God's creation
to see the smile
play upon your lips
was to see
the most important and beautiful
thing in ones life.
To see it was to see love

I only regret
losing love
and losing beauty.
So i sit in painful memory
only finding pale
in life.

As i am basked in
candlelight and shadow
i can't help seeing
the caring in your eyes
and the love in your voice
i can't help hearing you say my name
and making it sound

and to end it all
like the snuffing and smoking
of the candle
i remember
what i see in your face now
and what i hear in your voice
and as it quenched the flame
this quenches my soul
and i cannot take it
i break down for none to see
becuase i have lost the ability
to see beauty
and to know real love

i still remember you
and the present
is so much more horrible
