I was listining to walking in Memphis. And came up with this hope you like it.

I walk down the street
look to the left
to the right

I see it on every side
and even above
on highways
and below
in the sewers
and on the alleys
cracked asphalt

So much wasted
so many wasted thoughts
people just doing
to get by
and maybe a little of this
not thinking of it all
not smelling the rose
put gently between their feet
but stomping on it
in their hurry to tommorow
and their next
quick fix

We have failed to
that which was given
and so will lose it all.

It will rush away
in a deluge
of wasteed thoughts
and waste

We are users...
that give no thought to what
our using
