I know I haven't posted anything in such a long time and I'm sorry, I've been dealing with a lot. This is about a teenage girl who commits suicide. & I think you can piece together why if you really pay attention to the stump.

She drew pictures when she was smaller
of trees
of her family
of a girl
her teacher always said she did great
she took her pictures home to her mother
who hung them on the fridge with a ‘C’ shaped magnet.

She drew pictures when she was older
of a dead tree
of a better family
of a prettier girl
her teacher always said she did good
she took her pictures home to her mother
who told her she did good and handed them back to her

She drew pictures when she was 14
of a stump
of a mother and a father with a dog
of a dead girl
her teacher never saw her work
she took her pictures home into her bedroom
she sat and she examined them

She wrote words on those same pictures when she was 17
She wrote; ‘I’m sorry, little tree. That you let people cut you down.’
She wrote; ‘Mother, father, you’ll be happier now and I’m sorry.’
She wrote; ‘I can’t apologize enough. If there is a God, I’m sorry I’m abandoning you.’
her teacher spotted she was out in class for to long
Her mother found these pictures
she hung them on the fridge as a reminder of her baby girl.
