There was a man who lived by the sea
He worship his God, as he prayed to the east,
And the man in the town laughed with glee,
“He has nothing in common with me, no nothing in common with me”

Then that man, he went to his church
He said to his Priest O what is he worth?
He lives by the sea and prays on his knees!
“He has nothing in common with me, no nothing in common with me”

The man left the church and got in his car
The cross on his neck dangled afar
Another man saw him and laughed at his scene
“He has nothing in common with me, no nothing in common with me”

The man went home and asked his wife
What good is religion? Life is life!
We die, I don’t care what happens to me
“He has nothing in common with me, no nothing in common with me”

Then one day
The man by the sea
And the man with cross
And the man who laughed at them each
They all died and went somewhere
Where would it be?
To meet their creator
Whoever it be!
They said to each other jumping with glee
“You’re not really different from me, no not really different from me”
