Goodnight, Morbid Prince
Close your eyes, cause
Later brings a better day
Whisper goodnight, to all your fantasies
This time, the best are left to fall
I'll leave you, promising
Hoping you'll find love at all
The demons will rise again
Devouring your empty soul
And I would hope that you remember me
Staring upon your wasteland
Am I your memory?
I'm only left to vow
That today will be better for us all
Emotions, sick and raw
Bleeding through, I see it now
With every breath you take
You know, you're beautiful
On the night of your assassination
I'll bid the love we had farewell
In your eyes I search for comfort
A hint of blue makes itself apparent
I feel the pain no longer
Your departure from my arms
Proves itself a mistake
The razors, are so unforgiving
Holding on like you never left me, I can almost hear your heart break
With every beat, the throbbing pulse
Such torture, should be banned
Someday, this tainted feeling will revolt
Leaving us to shatter
So frail we are
And as if we never mattered
We will walk our separate paths
And someday, I know you will come back
Running to me, as if this never happened before..
