It switches back and forth between the two perspectives, kind of hard to follow..

She tripped she fell
She couldn't get back up
She cried and died
She couldn't get enough
He watched her on her dying day
He fell in love with her killing grace
And before long she was gone
Never to return again

For I am gone
For I am hurt
You don't care
I have no worth
A caged bird
I sing to be let free
I mean nothing to you and
You won't let go of me

A spider crawled out from a stack of old love notes
It was poetic in a way
I felt myself dying
I felt her slip away
I let her die
I let her cry
I felt like destroying something beautiful

I pour my heart out on a sheet of paper
I'm crying and bleeding and screaming and
Why don't you care?
I'm a liar I'm a fake
I only know of hate
As you try to mend this bleeding heart of mine

You're staring at me from across the room
Why the sad gaze?
I must have done something to you
I know I killed you
I caused you pain
It doesn't bother me that
You died today
You're beautiful in this strange way
I could never love you
Yet I'll lead you on, I'll play..

I tripped and fell
And I'd never fallen so hard
The tears burned more than usual
My cage is barred
They told me the truth would set me free
But instead I tripped
I fell
And it almost killed me

He looked upon the body that lay
Before him
What a mess he's made
A life he's destroyed
He'll watch it decay
The rose was red
It faded to black
A lot like her heart
That she never got back
