mountain picnic

When we were young with empty nest,
We saw an area ,green and shady.
The day was cloudy cool and mist
There we went and had a rest.
We kissed the breeze east and west
And touched the clouds so much handy .
Perfumed air and scented vales,
Green hills,never the best.
Alone we were in such a land
Of dark woods and rare sand.
Like ghosts among trees
Were the clouds and the breeze.
When I see the area now
Robbed of trees, I ask How ?
Leave the trees unhewn
Don't remove the sand dune.
please
please.
