IN THEIR SHOES
No - You can’t cast that stone
In your hand
You can’t trample them
You can’t condemn them

Not until….Not until
You’ve walked in their shoes
Not until
You’ve felt the storms
Not until
You know what it’s like
Not until
You’ve walked a mile in their shoes.

No – You can’t cast them aside
Like a piece of trash floating by
You can’t ignore them
You can’t look down on them

Not until….

Not until you’ve felt the stones beneath their feet,
Not until you’ve seen it with your own eyes,
Not until you’ve lost your sole too,
Not until, not until

You’ve walked a mile, a mile in their shoes.
