I walk up the aisle under my veil of despair,

I feel the hands of death in the piercing wintry air.

My face starts sweating and my hands turn to ice,

as I look at the man who was tattered and sliced.

His skin looks clammy, his face is ashen.

3 days ago, my heart burned with passion,

For the man laying lifeless in this huge metal box,

And all those years spent together are not easily forgot.

The pain is unbearable and the tears I can't fight.

And in just a few hours, you will be sealed from my sight.

Forever gone, to be never seen again.

I will truly miss you, my love and bestfriend.
