An old poem that is just as true today as when I wrote it.

I want to dance in the moonlight

With the fairy folk of my mind

Dance to the beat of my heart

With nymphs and pixies of every kind

I want to flee away from this boring life

To see enchanted forests and moors

Explore haunted dungeons and crypts

And magic castles with secret doors

To twist and turn beneath the stars

Flying without leaving the ground

Dancing from dusk till dawn

Then slipping away without a sound

I want to meet everyone of my dreams

From the proud and regal elf queen

To vagabonds, witches, dryads and

Vampires who centuries have seen

Such are the dreams I dream

And for that some call me mad

But I've never cared for them

For when dancing I'm never sad
