Ø

My sensation is chasing car lights, while my eyes carry on like the ambulances filling their gurneys
As children bury their laughter in tears
There's a man whimpering for the wife that took his away
Familiar voices are now insincere
Longing for affection, we all creep past the darkness in our hearts
That nothing could fill
Until our beds grow cold and our eyes fear for hope
It lets us down, until we find a new element to breathe
Because this air is just not cutting it anymore
Is there another wicked soul that can hear these voices in a desolate bedroom
I want to forget what they told me
But you can't forgive, if you forgot it entirely
And I can't fall asleep if I keep this up so hopelessly
Begging for a trace back to your smile
Crying for the empty silence that sought my love
It's still in my skin
It's deep in the colors of your eyes and it's searing my bones together
Until breathing rests utterly in futility when your not here for her
