O fair maiden of mine

with thy angelic face divine

thou who bringeth my mind to peace

seeing thy beauty my breath does cease.

Thy fair head and ruby lips

maketh my body tremble to tips

thou art the Adonis's Aphrodite

radiant as a sun, temperate and bright.

Thy laughter like bells do chime

enchants my soul everytime.

Like sunflower a sun does gaze

I live to caress thy lovely face.

Bereft you I shall cease to live

nothing ever shall any joy give

mark my words O venus of mine

thou art mine and I am thine
