And there it lie.
Bumping and beating around on the floor,
She stared at it.
Not moving a single muscle.
It thumped.
And colors oozed out,
Forming a picture on the concrete.
This picture displayed the last two years of her life.
The great moments,
The bad moments.
The ones she wanted to forget,
And the ones she wanted to hold sacred forever.
There was brusies.
Visible and invisible.
Scars that would remain forever.
He had ripped it out,
Cold.
It was a mess,
She was a mess.
But there was no looking back now.
It was over,
But would it ever truly end?
Would she be like this for a while?
Picking herself up off the floor.
Everything she collected was in a heap.
She was stronger than this.
She gripped her heart,
And poured the memories back inside.
As much as she wanted to move on,
It would be difficult.
But she could do it.
She picked herself up off the floor,
And walked across the prickly concrete.
She was done.
He was the four walls surrounding her,
Holding her in.
As soon as she found the door,
She walked out,
And closed it tightly,
With a bang.
Knowing this would be the last time.
It was closed for good.
And inside this room,
Was the old girl,
The girl who was made weak,
The one who melted.
Now she was strong.
Her head held high as she danced;
Down the hallway,
Searching for a new room to settle into.
A room that she could look past the bad,
And into the future.
A future without the boy;
Who left her heart empty.
