I took away my oxygen so you could breathe.
I choked so much that now I seethe.
I gave you my light when you were dim.
I dove into your ocean though I couldn’t swim.
I shattered the sun with a glance.
It’d burn you I feared, so I took that chance.
Crimson roses, clear tears,
Pink sunsets, empty spheres.
Grim darkness, time running past,
Broken dreams of finishing last.
I stood in front of the bashing wind.
It felt like a hurricane, and it singed.
I’m out of breath, there’s no oxygen too.
The roses are dead; their crimson blue.
The pink sunset’s empty; my light is gone.
Time’s running out and my dreams have spawned
Nightmares of finishing last in this race
Though I can’t blame myself for such a disgrace.
The darkness is enclosing the light within
The light I had is becoming thin.
Thank you for everything, I cannot deny
You of your sincerity, me of a lie.
We ended where we had once begun,
Our paths must separate; our story's done.
