One More Kiss

Poem by: MudgeNum2

Summary

My boyfriend lives an hour away and I only see him on weekends. The last kiss is always the sweetest but also the saddest.

Just one more kiss….
One more kiss before I let you go.
So addicting, so innocently sweet,
Can you blame me for wanting just one more?
I don’t want to leave, but I know I must..
So thoughts of you will have to do
Until I can be with you once again.
Comparatively dull…
Thoughts can not replace
Your laughter in my ears,
The warmth of your skin as you hold me close,
Or the way I feel when I look into your eyes.
So baby, my sweet baby,
I’m missing you today,
But the time to steal one last kiss
Will come and go all too soon.
