I wrote this short poem/story in some spare time one day.

Once apon a time, there lived a selfish prince,
Who took gold from villagers, and mistreated servents.
One day there came, a girl from the woods.
She skipped into the village, wearing a dark cloak with a hood.
The villagers were curious, why had this girl come?
They asked themselfs questions, where was she from?
With her dark hood down, she hurried to the castle.
Pulling swiftly at the gates, she gave the gaurds no hastle.
"I come in peace" she said as she entered,
swooping down the halls, as if she had feathers.
Soon she arrived, at the princes room.
she knocked with no answer
"where is he?" she asked a servent with a broom.
"Collecting gold" he said quietly, and continued to sweep,
pushing the dust from under their feet.
The girl nodded, and turned to head for the exit,

The next day she returned, with a basket in her hand.
She flitted down the hallway, then asked the servent man.
"where is he this time?" she asked "collecting gold again?"
"No," He said, scratching his head
"His in his bedroom, sick in his bed."
So the girl went, flipping up her hood,
to the princes room, as fast as she could.
And there she saw him, lying alone,
looking so cold, and still as stone.
"Why are you sick?" she asked.
There was a silence, a silence so sweet,
so terrible, so wonderful, so dark and so meek.
"I am dieing," he spoke with cold lips
"I will be gone soon, i need you and your skips,
to help me make well, and give back the gold,
so listen well, and do as your told.
The gold is from them, and i was greedy,
taking from these people who are obviously needy.
Take it to town, and give it all back,
returning it most, to the people who lack."
And with that he was gone.
Dead as a post.
Caring of people, who he hated the most.
The small girl left, taking with her, the gold.
Skipping from the castle, leaving the future to unfold.
Out the girl went, beyond the castle gates,
while on the sidelines, a villager waits.
On the girl walked, made a left turn,
she left the village, never to return.

Ha! Great ending! You're expecting her to make everything right and give back the gold, and instead she skips town? Brilliant!

Yeah, I made her steal it at the end.
Thank you!
