Depression
There seems no way out of it,
There is no light at the end of the tunnel,
Everywhere I look,
Everything I try to do,
Nothing seems to be getting through,
Your mind is black and grey,
Not knowing which way to turn,
Debts are growing,
Grief builds up inside,
You feel no love,
Don’t know who to trust,
Don’t want to get up,
No job, No future,
You try to eat
It won’t stay down.
You feel like you want to scream,
But who would listen if you did,
Fear grips tight,
You lay a wake most of the night,
Thinking within your trapped brain,
Maybe it might even be better
Not to be here.
If you feel it catching you
STEP BACK
Take a view,
Look at your life
Slowly then you will
Know just what to do.
