I looked back at the past
To the times where no one could ever break the bond between us
Now today I realize I was wrong
I always called you my friend
But now you hurt me and I will never forget what you did
All this pain inside, an ache in my heart, and tears in my eyes

I looked at those 2 happy years we had together
I sighed to myself thinking there is nothing else I can do
But let you go so you can stop hurting me
You hurt me many times before but I forgive
Now I think it is time to let go

Now as you hurt me more
I know realize it wasn't me causing this it was you
It was always you from the start, ambitious and always self-centered
You were ready to do everything just to hurt me

You called yourself my friend
I trusted you and I believed in you
Now I was wrong
I am learning my lesson the hard way
But now thanks to you I will never ever forget to do when this happens again

With the pain inside, the ache in my heart
They will all remind me of you and what you did
You were the friend that was never a friend
