Drifting out from the shore to see the real world
Take me back to land, take me back to land
There's nothing left in these sails, I've no direction
This is my floating grave

I need help, but I'm alone in the middle of nowhere
I need warmth, but I'm so cold
No one answers my prayers

Pushing back the hand of a stranger
No god can be my saviour
Drifting away from sanity
I feel the cold get colder in me

No sign of safety ahead, the storm's approaching
Save me from the sea, save me from the sea
I see the water, intruding like a countdown
I'm running out of time

I'm counting down the day's until this is over
I'm fed up of being afraid
I'm ready to surrender

Pushing back the hand of a stranger
No god can be my saviour
Drifting away from sanity
I feel the cold get colder in me

Take my last words and change their meaning
To suit the scene that you see while you're dreaming
