Patiently waiting for a new beginning
Something to restore my faith in life
I gave up long, long ago
I'm losing hope; I can't have much more

Stop me from drowning in all my sins
Allow me to focus on all I've gained

I try to hide what I feel inside, and turn it all in on myself
Would anyone care, if I dare to share everything on my chest

Just because I'm not screaming
It doesn't mean that I'm not hurt

I'm tired of existence, I'm running scared of death
Help me escape before I run out of breath
Take me far, far, far away
I've nothing left to do, or to say

Stop me from falling asleep tonight
Keep me from walking towards the light

One knee on the ground and my eye's closed
My hand's pressed lightly together
A flicker of hope, that comes and goes
I know it can't last forever

I try to hide what I feel inside, and turn it all in on myself
Would anyone care, if I dare to share everything on my chest

Just because I'm not screaming
It doesn't mean that I'm not hurt
