My Crime - loving you

Your Heart - judge and jury too.

The trial and conviction all dressed in white,

These chains keeping me from running flight.

A lifetime of longing, my sentence - never free

Ive been a prisoner since the day you"ve found me.

When we touch, your hands are inside my soul

and though Ive tried escape, I cannot let you go.

Nowhere to hide, love has me captured and bound

love shackles like steel bars wrapping all around

I long for freedom, needing release from this captured life

rather execute me by injection, noose or sharp knife.
