Joy Toy

I used to dream playing with toys

A child who always enjoys

My family would laugh around me

Beyond happiness nothing could we see

All day long with soil I played

Never missed a chance or delayed

Noisy crowd of kids on the street

Happiness was our treat

That mountainous town of mine

Echoed with laughters and would shine

We sang songs of little stars and butterflies

Piercing up to our blue skies

Holding hands we stood

Togetherness and peace we understood

Neighbors with neighbors lived with joy

Love was their beautiful toy

Out of our doors, we ran shouting in rain

All was beautiful and none in pain

We would go to school fearless

No fear of  bombs and, so careless

My way to school was festive

The hustle bustle to eyes was attractive

The nights would twinkle with little stars

And moon led us to sleep under stars

So calming was our nights

With frogs’ noise and turned off lights!
