I miss those days,
when the sun was not so hot.
When frozen water,
tasted like ice cream some-what.

Shouting with others,
with every run scored.
Jumping in joy,
with every marble sold.

I miss those days,
when car was less and people more.
We played football on streets,
with a team of four.

Racing in the rain,
with no finishing line.
Swimming in muddy water,
seemed perfectly fine.

I miss those days,
when, our body felt so light.
Ran barefoot on fields,
till the airplane was out of sight.

Life made more sense,
no matter how senseless others said.
When we would fall asleep,
as soon as we laid on bed.

I miss those days,
when the sun was not so hot.
