Why are you looking blue?
Why are you looking sad?
Is there something,
that has happened bad?
I see you crying.
I hear you moaning.
I guess you had wished,
for a different ending.
You can't undo your past,
I know you can't stop crying too.
So I won't ask you,
So just cry till you are through.
Cry and cry till you are tired.
Cry till the pain feels less.
Shout, shout your heart out,
Till the past is not a stress.
But when you are done moaning,
It will be a new start.
Life will become an empty canvas,
Just put in your own art.
Make your life big, then long,
Every day sing a brand new song.
You can't change your past,
So live everyday, from now,
as if it's the last.

Tue, March 6th, 2012 12:24pmBrother, another inspiring and very true piece of work you have displayed here. In very simple words you explain your readers, past is gone and if you want to be the master of your future you always have to be in Present.

You didn't fail to make me click the Like button whenever you're writing a poem. Really, that's how good you are.
Tue, March 6th, 2012 3:02amAs always, an inspirational poem coming from you! You know about GuiltyPleasure, right? She writes poems, too and she's also great but she has a different kind of style and I should say that you two are my top favorite poets here on Booksie!
While everything that she wrote is deep and mostly romantic, your masterpieces are inspirational which makes us see the pain of the reality yet at the end, makes us see the good behind it.
Many people that will read your poems will always find hope in your masterpieces. Your skill in writing poems are anything but God-given. ;)
I like this poem. It tells us not to look back and keep looking ahead. Because it's true, when you look back, then how will you take one step forward? You'll always be stuck in the same ground forever if you keep looking back. :D
Very inspirational.
Keep writing more poems!
XOXO,
