A whisper in the darkest of the night
Lingers until the first crack of light
Dawn is present, an echo fills my heart
Words of betrayal slowly rip me apart
From underneath, the flames of sadness consume me
It devours, burning me completely
My soul crumbles, my entire being but ashes
A flicker of light, the fire still flashes
Engulfing my every memory made on this earth
My birth ends in death and my death becomes its birth
It creates a new me, a new being
A stranger to my own eyes, I don't know who I'm seeing
And the fire I was born out of courses through every vein
But the heart, frozen, forever iced in pain.

A/N- This poem was short and sweet. This guy is good with words. The vivid descriptions are beautfiul. loved this poem
