Fade away

I wish you were here because I’m by myself in the dark

I’m sitting alone with a black rose in this empty park.

It bleeds my pain away, it stands by me because it’s dead

Its petals have fallen, they surround me sleeping in my empty bed.

This whole in me keeps getting bigger, it doesn’t have an end,

It’s carved by my heart as a result of the loss of the dearest friend.

This black rose has fallen only to rise again, I cannot pretend…

Because I’m really broken, I can only wait till all of this will end.

But time doesn’t have a meaning anymore, I live for the past day;

It won’t be the same nowadays I wish you would just fade away…

Everything changes more and more, I just can’t walk through the door.

The darkness is better: simple and cold; that’s why I lay on the floor.

Fade away is all I’m asking for, why can’t I be like I was before?

Fade away is all I wish, why don’t wishes come true anymore?

Fade away is a prize to be won, but why can’t it be gain?

Fade away I think I deserve, just fade away so I can let go of the pain.
