In loving memory of a wonderful mother.. cut short, before her time... words are not enough, but they are always a good place to start.

Mother And Friend

From the first few moments I saw your face,

I loved you like no other,

You reserved me a place in your heart,

And gave me sisters and brothers,

You sheltered us with care and love,

Now you watch us from above,

You stayed with us through good and bad,

You gave us everything you had,

We stuck by you throughout the years,

There’s love for you in all our tears,

And when I too climb the golden stairs,

I know that you will be waiting there,

With open arms we will meet again,

You were more than a mother…

Always a friend.
