The ever present darkness always snuffs out the candle light,

The consuming fire that was once part of me is gone,

I seemed to have lost it years ago when I left you.

The darkness pulls at me from below,

But I do not sink beneath.

Suddenly the spirits shy away from the unexpected luminous presence,

Not knowing what to expect I watch hopefully,

Suddenly I feel a new emotion, 

It says "I'm with you."
