Welcome to the winter with a cup of ice cream

Winds blowing, leaves rustling,
Clouds gathering on the sky
An expected rain to fall soon
And winters to arrive
The leaves it sheds, spell of dryness it casts
Signs of leaving the summer trail behind
Though it may be a bad omen to some
But, literally, I don’t mind

As the winds get colder and a slight chill hangs in the air, while your vision gets fogged and the clouds forming on the sky hiding sun from view, the leaves turning yellow ready to fall soon giving a message that winter is at your door step. Though the dryness it brings along displeses some including me, but it is a package deal. Many regard winters unlucky, bad and related to heart breaks and all the sadness, but honestly there is no such thing. Winters are just a season. And I LOVE it.
Winters are my favorite season by far. I love winter nights and I love winter days. I love the fog that registers in the morning during winter and I love winter rains!
So now winters are here knocking at my door and I should probably welcome them with some protocol. And the best idea was a cup of ICE-CREAM.
Crazy isn’t it? However crazier it may seem to you but that’s how I am.
I doubt that coffee, tea, or hot chocolate or any other hot drink would give me as much pleasure as a cup of freezing, sweet, crunchy - chocolaty perhaps - ice-cream!........YUMMMYYY
And therefore I planned to eat ice cream on the swings (the ones in my house), embracing the cold winds and enjoying my cool cool ice-cream. But my story doesn’t end here. There were – or I should better say- are complications.
My father refused to buy me ice cream. He also forbade me – and not just him, also my mother and grand mother- to buy one for myself. Because, my younger siblings would also ask for it and if they get it, they will probably catch flu, get cough and fall ill. So in order to keep them from getting sick I should be kept from having my wish……..Aaaaaahhh

But even yet I haven’t lost hopes. May be, may be someday I would be able to welcome the winters the way I wan to, though a little late or may be next time. I hope I will get it my way!
