This a poem I wrote about my grandma who recently passed away this year 2007. This was one way I could say goodbye to her. When she died I was very upset and this was also one way I treid to deal with her loss..although it only helped a little. I still miss her so very much.

Her silver hair glistened in the sunlight as she tended to her flowers, with such deep sparkling eyes for all those she looked upon with such compassion.

Her bright alluring smile that brightened up a room when she entered, turning everyone's frowns upside down.

Her strong loving arms always open and ready to open to wrap you in her love, ready to comfort you or just hold you near.

Her spirited mind so full of wonders and ideas, never would she come up with a idea or activity that you would not enjoy.

She had the most glorious voice, a sound of pure angels in the gleaming heavens above us, she would turn their heads with her charisma.

She would sit at her table, and bear her heart and soul in her drawings which were so full of vibrancy and life.

She would dress in her finest, paint herself up so perfect, when ever she would go to a wedding or party, there was never a single hair astray.

She would make her delectable fried chicken, and her scrumptious warm apple pie, which we gobbled in one bite, never was their a scrap left.

When it was time for us to leave, with a sorrowful but loving face she would send us away with loving words and hugs for all.

Even though she has parted from this world, she will forever remain in our hearts and memories for all time to come.
