Pink frills, cheap thrills,
I am a material girl.

Kissing games, walls of fame,
I am a material girl.

New shoes, fashion views,
I am a material girl.

Many believe the roumors and gossip,
Believe that I'm simply pretty and hip.

Deep inside, sometimes I wonder,
Would they still love me if I started to blunder?

To many I may be just a pretty face,
But all I really want is to find my place.

I may always seem a material girl,
But sometimes, inside, I start to unfurl.

Sometimes this life can be so crazy
It's not as easy as it seems to look as cute as a daisy

Drama and hookups are part of my life,
But I too must face human agony and strife.

Right now, it may seem, my life is perfect
But who knows in the future, how many lives I'll affect.

I really hope this poem has shown you,
How a material girl can have feelings too.
