Life is like the seasons of the year. Always chaging, brining new things, and taking away the old.

Spring:

Life fills the air,

Life and happiness.

Colors surround you,

And you can live without a care.

Everything is still so new,

Everything is so young.

There is new life all around,

And there is so much to be done.

Innocence is all that can be found,

And things show that had once been concealed.

It is a time of joy and hope,

A time for things to be healed.

Summer:

This is when things start heating up,

And the excitement begins grow.

Sweet smells carry in the warm breeze,

And life goes by so slow.

It's when things start to become clear,

And you can understand more,

And things that you used to hate,

Become the things you adore.

Friends are made and relationships grow,

As you start living life.

Things are gained and things are lost.

You start learning to a sacrifice.

All the while, you can feel,

That there is something in the breeze.

Something waiting for you just around the bend,

As you start to predict the upcoming freeze.

Fall:

And just like that the warmth is gone.

And things begin to wither away.

And you're thrown into the harder times,

And your life thrown into the fray.

It is a time when the old life,

Starts to wilt and die.

As your life is turned around,

And all problems magnified.

The air starts to grow cold,

And comfort is hard to find.

And the once wonderful world you thought you knew,

Turned out to be not so kind.

Now you're starting to fade away,

Still trying to win the fight.

Trying not to let the cold get to you,

Just trying to see the light.

Winter:

When you thought things were bad enough,

They just start to get worse.

You're covered in a white blanket of cold.

Mother Nature's curse.

This is a time when death lingers in the air,

And the cold starts to take its toll.

You can feel the end is near,

As things start to unfold.

Fear overcomes you,

Pain engulfs you,

Sorrow surrouns you,

And there's nothing you can do.

The rivers freeze,

The sky turns grey,

The flowers die,

And all colors fade away.

And that's when you start to take you last breath,

Knowing your time has come to sacrifice,

And leave this world behind,

Until spring comes again and brings you back to life.
