Sometimes it's harder to let the pain go, than to accept it.

The sound of silence rings through my head.

The only sound that can comfort the living dead.

I can feel the pain in my heart growing stronger.

I can't hold on any longer.

This time there is no one at my side,

To help save my form the rising tide.

I'm drowning in my own pain.

Chilling me like the falling rain.

If only I could take it all back,

And redeem what I lack.

But it's all in the past now.

And I'm taking my final bow.

If you really love me,

Then let go of me.

It's too late for me to be saved from the cold.

Forget everything you've been told.

It's too late to turn around.

There's not a trace of light to be found.

Just keep in mind that once I'm gone,

You'll finally realize it's what you've wanted all along.

I won't be held down by what I used to be.

No loyal friend was ever there for me.

Don't hold me back--don't even try.

Because it's time to say goodbye.

This time I really am alone.

I am lost...and can never go home.
