THIS POEM EXPLAINS THE CRIES OF OR COUNTRY YOUNG BLACK MEN THAT BATTLE RACIAL ISSUES WHETHER OUT IN THE STREETS, SCHOOLS OR IN JAIL.

GENACIDE!.. GENACIDE!...

All our black men have died!

Send them up, save them all!

GENACIDE!... GENACIDE!...

For we have fall!

God help us please as I sit and read and

Watch our life fade away,

I’m steady praying day to day.

The neighborhood is motionless,

For there is more DEATH on the list!

GENACIDE!... GENACIDE!..

All these black men have died!

The screams, the lights, the nightmares,

OUR eyes have endured!

The heartache, the PAIN!

I’m calling ALL black names!

Sitting lonely in a dark cell,

Reading aggravated assault on a black male.

The guards are suppose to PROTECT,

But you left defending for yourself!

Come to my rescue these young men DREAM,

But you’re just another BLACK SILENT SCREAM!

BLACK SILENT SCREAM!!!

BLACK SILENT SCREAM!!!

Stop! Someone finally heard your scream.

Came to the rescue but did not believe.

I’m begging, pleading guards help me please!

Listen to my BLACK SILENT SCREAM!

HELP !... HELP !...

I’m yelling, I’m screaming!

Somebody please help out and come get me!

It’s a GENACIDE!.. GENACIDE!..

ALL our black men have died.

I’m hearing all these little black CRIES!

HELP ME!... HELP ME!...

For I’m another………

BLACK!...

SILENT!...

SCREAM!...
