lying on my back

upside down on the world

just a moments flaw, the earths grip fails

im floating, falling...

rising above all i know, higher

where the wind is hardened and stiff

flying, falling...

descending into chemical mist, im trapped

webbed in a dusty velvet blanket

choking, falling...

theres light, no, not light but dark

clean crisp crystal nothing, just dark

excelling, falling...

into nothingness filled with a million somethings

faster, falling

distant marble planets illuminate emptiness

slipping into ever expanding black

so infinite, so vast

and me, so small, falling...
