I suffer from depression, and writing poetry takes my mind off things, I recently wrote this poem to get things off my mind..

I dropped to my knees, once again in tears.

I picked up the blade, cutting to release my fears.

Cut by cut, I feel more pain..

My head is cluttered, I feel insane.

I scream in anger, It's time to let it all out.

so many tears are falling, I could cure a drought.

The voices have spoken, they tell me to go deep.

The voice from a man.. More like a creep.

More blood starts to drip, I feel the pain more.

The next feeling will be, to feel my heart pour.

I smile one last time, is this really my last?

What about my future, will this be my past?

I through down the blade, what a stupid mistake..

I want to be real, not just some fake.

I cleaned up my wounds, chucked on a smile.

But who am I kidding, it won’t even stay awhile.
