There is a sister older than me,
And one that follows everything she sees.

Sometimes I wish I was older too,
So we dress up and act as elders do.

Then when I want to be small again,
I have my little sib, be my friend.

Sometimes I feel like a sandwich too,
But when it gets cold, we stick like glue.

I never have to set the example,
Or be the last to try a sample.

From either end I’m always in the middle,
But I don’t mind, I’ve solved the riddle.
