My mom went through her second divorce and started recently dating this dude. She left my dad and stepdad because they didn't have enough to satisfy the lifestyle she wanted to live. So this guy she's dating has a lot more money, works for the navy and wants to move my mom to Italy. My mother and I never got along when I was growing up, so our new found relationship has become very important to me, and I don't want it taken from me so quickly.

Don’t Go
That’s not what you want
That’s not what you’re looking for.
Stop lying to yourself
You’re just proving you’re a money whore.
You think status will validate who you are
Like your family and your life is not up to par.
I can’t stand the thought of you leaving us to live that far
You have outdone yourself this time; you aggravate the fuck out of me
What if I want you with me during a nine-month pregnancy?
It’s not going to work this way, too much will change
We will become strangers, way too strange.
I think I will bottle you up, or keep you in chains.
I don’t want my heart to feel the emptiness of you leaving me
It will destroy me, I will be so uneasy.
I love you, but only you have the key.
