Whenever I try to speak
My stomach is on a voyage across the sea
Inside my head I ask, "Won't you sail this boat with me?"
He makes me seasick

The sparkles in his eyes
Through this beauty of the night
He makes me seasick

He greets me with a sailor's smile
Yet even on land
He makes me seasick

The clamminess in my hands
The sweat from the sun's rays
He makes me seasick

I sit down to breathe
Yet now he's come to tell me
"You make me seasick
Every time I try to impress you
It feels like it's never enough
you make me seasick
Won't you be mine?"
