What if the world was covered in ice?

What if it turned green?

And our industry was sterilized

By heated bursting seems

The oceans once again turn pink

With sulfide hydrogen

The warming of our fragile sphere

Could take all once again

Maybe soon we could fade

To bacterium, virus, some sickness

Or long from now the sun would die

And take our planet with it

Could lightning role with winds ‘til bone

Is all our home is left

With a core that spins no more

A lifeless pit in silence

Yet again the world could go

By something still unknown

Death could come by antimatter,

Wormhole, blackhole, distant creatures

Things close to home are a risk too

Like an eugenic holocaust

Or nuclear misuse

But quiet child, close your mind

I won’t say this to you

Just go to sleep and have sweet dreams

And let it come unglued
