I have always had a fasination with graveyards which has inspired this poem.

Weeping Angels
Beneath the stars and the bitter moon
concealed in side this earthly tomb
where even strangers dare to tread
and disturb the earth above my head

To all I give this stark warning
while quiet in your saddened mourning
on your own you may feel you be
but your not alone believe you me

They watch and wait still as stone
stood upon their tomb lit thrown
weeping angels guard our heads
in case we want to stray from bed

But they have a darker side
while in there hands their faces hide
they like to pray on the unaware
who can not control their stare

While you watch they are stone
close your eyes and they do roam
the angels may pretend to weep
but watch them close or you will sleep

Amazing! I love this! (It reminds me of an episode called Blink in a show called Doctor Who)

Yes I remember the episode. I Wrote this while is was at school many years ago, I think it just goes to show the impressions that these places have on us, There was also an angel in 'Intervew with a Vampire' that moved. My son is Doctor Who mad and 'Blink' was a great episode
