Gasping winds,

howling with the choir of

a thousand dead angels,

strip the shroud from

newborn flesh.

Pulsing body lies naked in

a pool of placental rebirth,

stirs on the cracked foundation.

Fortress rubble sighs around me.

The Devil's symphony rings in

my ears.

Eyes open,

slowly,

gazing with newborn fire.

Dormant mind reawakens

and laughs.

The sundered spirits reunite

and whisper silently

to the Dawn.
