Withered banshee with soulless eyes.

Ribs jutting through ashen, decrepit flesh.

Tangled explosion of

wiry black hair,

a whisper of Medusa's vanity.

Skeletal arms with gnarled talons,

mummified bat wings folded against

a knobby spine.

She's a cold wraith in

shredded rags,

staring blankly into a nightmare abyss.

Standing over my shoulder,

whispering twisted thoughts in a

choking gasp.

Stubborn, heartless bitch,

dangling carrot ideas before my

starving eyes,

leading me into

scorched wastelands,

showing me black visions and

rotting carcass dreams.

Inspiration comes in

dripping rivulets,

oozing sickly into my mind.

I create.

I destroy.
